Bob Spencer has lived in Codsall for over 25 years. His wife Jill is a nurse and they have two grown up children. A former senior police officer with responsibility for investigating serious and organised crime, including terrorism. Following retirement, he went on to working with the Home Office, developing the UK’s response to tackling violent extremism. He is a consultant to several training organisations and currently a lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton.
As a member of the Safer Neighbourhood Panel and Vice Chair of the County Councils Safer and Stronger select Committee, he works tirelessly to improve community safety and ensure the most vulnerable in our communities are safeguarded. An active member of the community as both a District and Parish Councillor, he supports local groups and initiatives. He’s run Codsall Judo Club for almost 40 years. He’s secured significant amounts of funding for various projects from small grants for schools, to £160k from the train companies for major local road improvements. He is passionate about improving our environment and communities, whilst delivering value for money. A champion of good jobs for local people. With your support.
